Samuel Wood

Samuel Wood serves as the Chief Technology Officer at OptPay Partners, where he oversees all technical operations and drives innovation across the company’s digital infrastructure as well as building out product suites for customers. A 2019 graduate of Texas A&M University, Samuel began his career in cybersecurity before transitioning into compliance roles at Cart.com and later EOG Resources. His experience across startups and enterprise environments gives him a unique perspective on building scalable, secure systems tailored to evolving business needs.

Outside of work, Samuel enjoys reading, playing pickleball, and actively volunteering at his church. His passion for service and lifelong learning fuels both his professional growth and community involvement.
